Merit Chev has been the place I have taken my vehicle to for years. The service dept has solved problems and always made sure the repair was done accurately. I was introduced to the service dept. dealership from my father in law who had been a customer for I bet 50+ years. I remember my Mom and Dad buying a brand new 1965 Chev Impala from Merit which eventually became the first car I owned. Two things I think you might want to look at. I was standing by the desk of one of the service writers and stepped back when done. Was inches away from being hit by a pickup truck coming in. Scared the heck out of me. And I think the service writer as well. One thing you might do is put some tall cones by your desks that will guide cars and trucks to a lane that keeps it away from people at the desk and help people like me from stepping out into traffic. Another area might be some reminders for your staff on the use of face masks. Saw a couple without them or not on their face the way it should be.
