My appointment was at 12:30 pm. I was going to head to Cross Lake Minnesota at 4:00. Called at 3:20 pm to see if truck was done. The receptionist said it would be 45 minutes. Called at 4:50 pm and receptionist put me on hold and never came back. Hung up and called again and a different gentlemen answered the phone. Ended up picking the truck up at 7:45 pm. Didn’t leave for cross lake until the next morning. Sucked! I understand you can be short handed- just give me honest answers so I can plan my day. I ended up disappointing a couple of people.

The service staff are friendly and don't try to over sell other services or products. They explain and show the dirty filters and why they should be changed with the cost. I was checked in immediately for my 7 a.m. appointment, and my car was ready in no time flat. Scott in the service department was great and surprised me with a free oil change. I wanted to pay but he refused because the appointment I had scheduled earlier in the week had to be cancelled because they were shorthanded in the shop. Note - Scott ROCKS!! My husband and I use this shop for all our Impala needs and always hope Scott is the person who takes care of us when we arrive. He knows our car and remembers what we've had done. Super nice guy and Merit Chev should be happy to have someone like him representing the dealership - great C/S.

Communication skills were poor. I don't feel the need to break it down for you. After several other times visiting your establishment to walk away feeling disappointed is enough explanation for me. Nothing changes for me with you guys. Different associates and still, awful communication and disappointment with what work you guys do. The associates who checked my vehicle in made jokes about my vehicle being supplied with two light bulbs which I was fine with being done, but the guy who thought it wasn't funny was the guy who was responsible for my vehicle check in. He seemed as if he did not want anything to do with me or my vehicle.

I am always leery to bring my vehicle to any garage due to past experiences but I am more confident that the folks at Merit are honest and have the customer needs first. Truck was brought in for its first oil change. I opened the hood after the work and noticed that the top of the engine was not covered in oil spillage. My previous shop would have spilled on the valve cover or on the manifold, this was clean. The service writer was very professional and moved the process along. Definitely going back for next service.

I set up an appointment for an EV recall several weeks in advance. Told I could have any time! After arriving at Merit for my 10am appointment, I was told they only have (2) EV technicians and they would not be able to start my car until approximately 12 noon and the work was expected to last about 1.5 hours. I had intended to wait for my car. They provided me with a ride home. At approximately 3:30pm I received a text my car was done and ready for pick-up. I had to call and remind them they needed to pick me up as they brought me home. I was told a new part (for recall) had been installed, only to read the paperwork that no new parts were used. The paperwork also indicated they had tried to perform a software update, but that was unsuccessful. In looking up the process for software updating online, it indicated that the dealership could contact GM for assistance in downloading software updates, but this appears not to have been done. I was told by the service rep this was no big deal and they can try it again on my next service visit! I finally arrived home with my car about 4:30pm with some of the work not accomplished! Based on a previous service visit, I believe Merit struggles with adequate staff and program abilities to adequately service EV's. They have my vehicle, which I purchased from them, listed as a 2024 Equinox EV. It is a 2024 Blazer EV (there were no Equinox EV's on their lot when I bought my car). This is not the professional service I was promised when I purchased the vehicle!!

1. Upon completion of service, I would appreciate hearing directly from a technician regarding exactly what else was done, along with the requested battery replacement, rather than seeing only "20-point MPVI 7390 INSP" on the invoice given to the office person. Poor customer service! 2. Was an ACDelco battery installed, as appears to be what GM uses? The battery make is not noted on the invoice, only "88864541 48AGM Battery". 3. I am reporting that my formerly clean driver's side tan floor mat now has 2 LARGE, DIRTY HEEL/FOOT PRINTS on it. A paper mat should have been used to avoid this!

I was a long-time customer for over 20 years. However, in 2025 fluids were found to be mixed in the coolant reservoir and other areas. 20-point inspection was noted on receipts, yet the reservoir remained unchanged. Major damage was done to my vehicle, Merit service manager claimed they did nothing wrong. My vehicle is junk. I now believe it's no coincidence that my previous vehicle was also damaged by their negligence and junked. I will never buy or service a vehicle at Merit again.

Very disappointed with my truck. Although I like it, I have had to bring it in for repair at least 5 or 6 times for what seems to be some type of computer issues. I know other people who have the same truck and haven’t had the same problems. My service writer is Jessica Whitney who has been pleasant and very understanding each time I call her with the engine light or issues, and has tried to help me with transportation. I know the problems aren’t her fault or anyone else’s at the dealership. Everyone has been nice. I have had many Chevrolet trucks that have had no issues like this.

When I called to make my appointment I indicated I would be waiting for the vehicle and was told it would take about 1 hour. When I arrived for the appointment I was told it would take 3-4 hours. Only part of the service was accomplished, a waste of my time.

When you came in for your appointment. General Motors had release a recall for your truck. That is why you where told it could be 3-4 hours to complete the recall and do a vehicle wide update to your truck.
